Atractomorpha lata (Motschulsky) 섬서구메뚜기

Form: The length of the body is 28~42mm. The body is small and light green. The females are much bigger than their counterparts. The head’s shape is a circular cone. The bottom of the back wing is light yellow.

Other characters: You can see them at the grassland or the rice field. As they eat many plants, especially petals, they are treated as a pest. The male, who is smaller than the female, climb the female’s back and they do mating for a long time. The imago appears in June ~ November. They live in Korea, Japan and China.
