Form : deciduous broadleaf small forest tree
Characteristic : The leaves are alternate and egg-shaped or oval. Their length is 2~8cm, width is 2~4cm and they have no hair on them, and are saw-toothed. The fruits are oval. They bear blue fruit from July after the flowers are gone. The fruits’ length is about 1.2~1.4 cm and they shapes like a bell. They grow ripe in September and gets grey-white. The flowers are genomonecious, 1.2~1.4cm in diameter, white and opens in May to June. Branches have star-shaped hairs but then disappear. Branches become brown  when their epidermis is taken off, and the part of the small branches are yellow-green. Stem is dark brown and it has vertical stripes. The tree has a main tree and lateral roots. The home of this tree is Korea, and it is distributed in Japan and China.
