Laccaria amethystea (자주졸각버섯)

Time & Place of occurrence : generated together in summer~autumn, at sunshiny stone’s crack and in forest.

Features : The diameter of cap is 1.5~3cm. At first, it is convex and it become depressed. The surface of cap is flat and it split thin like small piece of scales. The color is generally purple but when the mushroom is dry, it become light like dark-gary-brown without gills. Gills is adnexed, purple, and the color of it isn’t change even if the mushroom is dry. The length of mushroom stem is 3~7cm and thickness of it is 2~5mm. The mushroom stem’s thickness is same up and down and it’s surface seem like fiber and it’s purple that same as cap. The spore is 7.5~9㎛, globular and it’s surface has small bump(thorn). This spores form mycorhiza that accrete with other plants.

The place you can see in Dongbaek Garden : It grows on leaves or connect at ground among falled leaves in the forest and around a walking trail.
